4. Interview applicants for the Library Board of Trustees and Conference Center Authority
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Library Board:
. Mr. Bill Boldenweck
· Mrs. Eleanor Breite
Conference Center - Business or Resident
. Mr. Jeffrey Awender
. Mrs. Buenaflor Nicolas
· Mr. Jim Metz
· Ms. Laurie Masetti
. Mr. F il da Cunha
(Ms. Jaslin Yu withdrew her application.)

Conference Center - Hotel
. Mr. Paul Herbert
· Mr. Rudy Ortiz
· Ms. Melody Lanthorn-Gale
. Mr. Jay Singh
5. Discussion and appointments to Library Board of Trustees and Conference Center
Authority
Council balloted and the City Clerk tallied the vote and announced the appointments of the
following applicants to the Library Board of Trustees: Bill Boldenweck and Eleanor
Breite.
Motion-Fernekes/Second-Garbarino: To appoint Bill Boldenweck and Eleanor Breite to
the Library Board of Trustees, term expiring June 30, 2008. Unanimously approved by
voice vote.
Council balloted and the City Clerk tallied the vote and announced the appointments of the
following applicants to the Conference Center Authority-Business or Resident: Fil da
Cunha and Jim Metz.
Motion-Matsumoto/Second-Gonzalez: To appoint Fil da Cunha and Jim Metz to the
Conference Center Authority-Business or Resident, term expiring March 27, 2008.
Unanimously approved by voice vote.
Council balloted and the City Clerk tallied the vote and announced the appointments of the
following applicants to the Conference Center Authority-Hotel: Paul Herbert and Rudy
Ortiz.
Motion-Gonzalez/Second-Garbarino: To appoint Paul Herbert and Rudy Ortiz to the
Conference Center Authority-Hotel, term expiring March 27,2008. Unanimously
approved by voice vote.
6. Adjournment
Being no further business, Mayor Green adjourned the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
