AN ORDINANCE ANIENDING ORDINANCE NO. 150 OF THE CITY "~' .......
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN DRANCISCO ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS.
FOR THE AC6WJMULATION,COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF GAR-
BAGE", passed April l, 1929.
The City Council of the City of ~ou~h Sam
ordain as follows:
Section l: Section 15 of Ordinance No. l§0 of the City
of South San Francisco entitled "An ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco establishing regulations for the accumulation, collec-
tion and removal of garbage", passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of South ~an Franeiaao on the 1st day of April, 1999,
is hereby amended so that said' Section 15, as amended, shall read
as follows:
Section 10. Each such person, firm or corporation
engaging in the business of hauling or removing garbage or waste
material shall pay to said City a license tax of Four Hundred
Dollars ($400.00) per year. Said license tax shall be payable
annually in advance, on the first ,day of January of each year.
No permit under this ordinance shall be.effective for any pur-
pose whatever until said license tax shall be paid for the
year for which such permit shall be used.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once in
"The Enterprise and The .South San Francisco Journal", a weekly.
newspaper printed and published in said City of South San Francisco,
and shall take effect and be in force at the expirati thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage and adoption.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
