Adminstrative Business - None 2. OWNER Syufy Enterprises APPLICANT Syres Properties LLC ADDRESS 410 Noor Avenue PROJECT NUMBER P18-0013: UP18-0006, DR18-0006 & TDM18-0003 PROJECT NAME New Mixed-Use Development (Case Planner: Adena Friedman) DESCRIPTION Use Permit, Design Review and Transportation Demand Management Plan to construct a new Multi-family Residential (342 units) with below grade parking at 410 Noor Avenue in the El Camino Real Mixed-Use (ECRMX) Zoning District in accordance with Title 20 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and and determination that the project is consistent with the South El Camino General Plan Amendment Environmental Impact Report, per the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The Board had the following comments: 1. The Board approved the design concept. 2. Board is concerned with the ADA access throughout the site, particularly the path of travel to building entrances. Check with the Building Department for the ADA requirements. 3. Ensure there is accessible path to the sidewalk along Huntington Avenue. 4. On the south elevation of Building A, the design needs more articulation and variation to break up the long blank wall, and create visual interest. 5. Consider alternative material or color for the caps on top of the buildings (Buildings A and C) to help break up the overall massing of the buildings. 6. Consider an alternative color for the tower on the right side of the elevation to help with the building height. 7. Lagerstroemia needs to be planted on a wind protected south wall, to maximize heat and light for healthy growth. 8. Provide a plan for trash collection. Show trash rooms on plans for all three buildings. Recommend Approval with comments. 3. OWNER Fairfield 150 Airport LP APPLICANT Market Share Inc. ADDRESS 150 Airport Blvd PROJECT NUMBER P16-0021: SIGNS18-0025 PROJECT NAME Type "B" Sign Permit (Case Planner: Adena Friedman) DESCRIPTION Type "B" Sign Permit for a residential building at 150 Airport Blvd in the Downtown Transit Core (DTC) Zoning District in accordance with Title 20 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and determination that the project is exempt from CEQA. The Board had the following comments: 1. For safety concerns, raise the height of the sign to 7 ft. 6 in. to allow people to walk underneath the sign during construction. Recommend Approval with comments. 4. OWNER Serigo Duran APPLICANT Serigo Duran ADDRESS 121 Drake Avenue PROJECT NUMBER P18-0076: DR18-0040 PROJECT NAME Rear Addition (Case Planner: Jessie Bristow) DESCRIPTION Design Review to construct a rear addition at 121 Drake Avenue in the Low Residential Density (RL-8) Zoning District in accordance with Title 20 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and determination that the project is categorically exempt from CEQA The Board had the following comments: 1. Consider continuing the deck to extend the length of the rear wall. 2. Consider increasing the door width leading into the Master Bedroom. Recommend Approval.
