-The~City Council of the City of South San Francisco do
ordain as follows:
Section l: Section 8.11 of Ordinance No. l?l of the City
of South San Francisco entitled "An ordinance providing for licensing
of business, professions, trades, callings and bccupations in the
City of South San Francisco", adopted May 7th, 1934, is hereby
amended so that Section 8.11 shall, as amended, read as follows:
Section 8.11. -CARNIVAL:~ Every person conducting any
carnival or other like or similar exhibition or amusement shall
pay a license fee of $200.00 for each day. No portion of any street
shall be used for the purpose of conducting any carnival.
Section 2: Section 8.20 of said Ordinance No. 171 is
hereby amended, so that said section 8.20 shall, as amended, read
as follows:
Section 8.Z0. GONTRACTORS: Every person conducting
the business of contractor of the kinds in this section classified,
having a fixed place of business in said City, shall pay an annual
license fee as follows:
1. Brick $10.00
2. Building 10.00
3. Cement l0.00
4. Electrical 10.00
§. Floor 10.00
6. Glazing l0.00
7. Heating 10.00
8. House ]~oving 10.00
9. Jobbing 5.00
10. Painting 10.00
ll. Paving 10.00
12. Plastering 10o00
13. Plumbing l0.00

Where such person has no fixed place of business in said
City, such fee shall be increased by 100%. Each license fee
provided in this section shall be payable annually, in advance.
Section 3: Section 8.21 of Ordinance No. 171 is hereby
amended,so that said section 8.21 shall, as amended, read as
follows:

6. Barber Shop-in shops having one chair 2.50~

Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once in
"The Enterprise and the South San Francisco Journal", a weekly
newspaper published and circulated in the City of South Sen
Francisco and shall take effect and be in force on the 1st day
of January, 1936,
