The Oity Council of the Oity of South San Francisco do
ordain as follows:
Seotion 1. To comply with the provisions of ~rticle 5 A
of Chapter 1 of ~ivision D I of the Streets and tlighways Code,
with particular reference to the amendments made thereto by Chapter
642, Statutes of 1935, there is hereby created in the City Treasury
a ~pecial fund to be knoE as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement
F~d ~ .
Section 2. ~11 moneys received by the city from the
State of Oalifornia under the provisions of the Streets and Highways
Code for the ac~uisition of real property or interest therein for,
or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or
highways other than the State Highways shall be paid into said fund.
Section 3. ~11 moneys in said fund shall be expended
exclusively for the purposes a~thorized by, and subject to all the
provisions of ~rticle 5, Chapter 1, ~ivision I of the Streets ~d
Highways Code.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published by one
in~ertion in "The Enterprise and the South San Francisco Journal",
a ~eekly newspaper of general circulation published and circulated
in said 0ity of South San Francisco ~d shall take effect and be in
force from and after the e~iration of thirty (30) days after its
adoption.
