PROVIDING A SYSTEM FOR THE ASSESSMENT, LEVY AND
COLLECTION OF CITY TAt~S IN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISC0," PASSED APRIL 19TH, 1909, BY
ADDING THERETO TWO SECTIONS TO BE I~GMBERED '~54
AND 54A AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 168 OF SAID
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 21 of the City of South San Francisco
entitled "An ordinance providing a system for the assessment, levy and
collection of all city taxes in the City of South San Francisco",
passed April 19, 1909, is hereby amended by adding thereto two (2)
sections to be numbered 54 and 5Aa, which 'said sections shall read as
follows:
Section 54: That certain map consisting of two (2)
sheets and designated "Q.fficial Map of the City of South San Francisco,
San Marco County, California", is hereby adopted as the official map
of South San Francisco.
Section 54a: In each assessment roll of the property
within said City of South San Francisco to be prepared hereafter, in-
cluding the assessment roll for the year 1938, all land not designated
on any map duly filed and recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of San Mateo, State of California, shall be designated by
an intelligible reference to said map and each such reference shall consti-
tute the designation of~ the parcel of land corresponding to. such reference,
as such parcel of land is delineated on said map, and shall be deemed to
be part of such assessment.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 168 entitled "An ordinance amending
Ordinance No. 21 of the City of South San Francisco entitled: 'An
ordinance providing a system for the assessment, levy an6 collectiom
of city taxes in the City of South San Francisco,' passed April 19th,
1909, by adding thereto two sections to be numbered 53 and 54 is hereby
repealed only insofar as the same relates to all assessments to be, made
hereafte:r.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once in "The
Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal", a weekly newspaper
printed and published in the City of South San Francisco, and shall
tak~ effect and be in force from and after the expiration of thirty
(30) days after its adoption.
Introduced this 20th day of June, 1938, ~assed and adopted as
an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco, at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this
day of~z~c~~J ~_.,~ 1938, by the following vote:
