RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO. F027 WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
COMPLETE STREETS IMPROVEMENTS ON EL CAMINO REAL
(SR82) FROM ARROYO DRIVE TO KAISER WAY PROJECT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $125,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco ("City") is eligible to receive federal funding for
reimbursement in the amount of $125,000 for preliminary engineering (environmental and design)
services under Program Supplement Agreement No. F027 ("Agreement") through the State of California
Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, a program supplemental agreement must be executed with the State of California
Department of Transportation before any such federal funds can be obtained; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to delegate authorization to execute the Agreement and any amendments
with the California Department of Transportation to the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the City Council hereby approves Program Supplemental Agreement No. F027 between the City and the
California Department of Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute Program Supplemental Agreement No. F027 on behalf of the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, and
take any other related action necessary to further the intent of this Resolution.
At a meeting of the Special City Council on 2/26/2020, a motion was made by Councilmember Nicolas,
seconded by Councilmember Nagales, that this Resolution be approved. The motion passed.
