AND ALSO REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 20 5~ ENTITLED: "A~ ~R DINANCE
LICENSING AND REGUIATING THE OPERATION OF AUTOMOBIIES FOR HIRE
AND THE TRANSPORTATION OF PASSENGERS THEREIN WITHIN THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO" ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SEPTEMBER 18, 1939.
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does~
ordain as follows:
Section 1. An ordinance repealing ordinance No. 84 entitled:
"An cmdiqance licensing and regulating the operation of automobiles
for hire and the public transportation of passengers therein with-
in the City of South San Francisco", passed and adopted by the
Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco July 6, 1915,
and all ordinances amendatory thereof; and also repealing ordinance
No. 96 entitled: VAn ordinance imposing a license tax upon the use
of vehicles 9ithin the limits of the City of SoUth San Francisco,
and repealing ordinance NO. 19 of the City of South San Francisco
entitled: 'A_n ordinance imposing a license tax upon the use of
vehicles within the limits of the City of South San Francisco'
Passed and adopted by the board of ~rustees of the City of South
San Francisco on the 5th day of April, 1909", adopted by the
board of trustees of the City of South San Francisco~August 20,
1917; and also repealing ordinance No. 205 entitled: "~ ordin-
ance licensing and regulating the operation of automobiles
for hire and the transportation of passengers therei~ within the
City of SoUth San Francisco,, adopted by the City Council of the
CENTRAL
0ity of South San Francisco September 18, 1939, are repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
"The Enterprise", a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of South San Francisco and shall take
effect and be in force on the expiration of thirty (30) ds~s
after its passage and adoption.
