HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 06/08/1949 REGULAR MEETING SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PLANNING COMMISSION JUNE 8th.1949~ Chairman Schaur called the meeting to order at 8;00 P.M~ PRESENT: Chairman SChaur, Commissioner's Maher, Lautze, Bracco, Zanetti Volante, City Attorney Coleberd, Building Inspector Rozzi ' Advisor Wise. ' ABSENT: RINGUE, BARRETT. Minutes of May Ilth.1949, approved as mailed. Ce~rn~UNICATIONS: None. E01~ITTEE REPORT~: Commissioner Maher reported the committee had met and decided to re-name Buckeye Ave to Hemlock Ave. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Mr. Coleberd advised the Commission to hold up application for Jmaes M.McFarland.. The chair declared Public Hearing on application for Nicola Re open, no protest made 1st hearing ordered closed. Second Public Hearing set for July l3th.1949.. Use Permit for Foster & Kleiser, Mr. Allan La Ferver of said Co.. withdrew reguest for a sign bOBrd , due to the fact the County Safety Commission desires this sign placed farther north of the County line. Tentative map for Sterling Terrace #4 held over until certain changes are made.. He-zoning of Sterling Terrace #1 & 2 Subdivision from R-A to B-1 are to be taken up when all four subdivisions are approved and put through at the same time. NEW BUSINESS: Letter from Frank Pisa for permission to hahe a scrap Iron Yard on Victory avenue, Secretary instructed to write letter inform- ing him to take out a Use Permit. Application of Atlas REalty Cae to re-subdivide lots 1 to 9 incl~ block #1, refereed back to Commission from City Council. Motion IDgde by Commissioner Lautze and sedonded by Commissioner Maher, application be denied. Roll call all voted aye. Letter from GeW.Williams Co regarding land on the S.W.Corner of El Camino Real and Ponderosa Rd. be annext to South San Francisc< and zoned for commercial use. This matter will be given attentiol if and when Country Club Park is annext to the City.
