~~O-' NANCE OF SaID CITY -- SECTIONS 11 and 12 THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 269 of the City of South San Fran-
cisco, California, being the zoning ordinance of said city, is hereby
amended as follows:
Section 1. Subsection (a) of Section ll of said~ordinance
is hereby amended by adding thereto a new paragraph to be numbered
and read as follows:
5. Outdoor advertising signs and structures when
appurtenant to any use permitted in the district; provided, however,
that in any case where such sign or structure projects into any yard
or street right of way and is over eight (8) square feet in area, a
use permit shall first be secured. Other outdoor advertising signs
and structures subject to the securing of a use permit in each case.
Section 2. Subsection (a) of Section 12 of said ordinance
is hereby amended by adding thereto a new paragraph to be numbered
and t~o read as follows:

Section 3. The land in said city next hereinafter described
is hereby'placed in a C-1 District. Said land consists of the portion
of lot numbered one hundred twenty-four (124), as shown upon the map
hereinafter mentioned, extending westerly from the westerly line of
Linden Avenue to the easterly line of Maple Avenue and included
between the northerly line of Baden ~venue and the southerly line
of Third Lane, and the portion of block numbered one hundred twenty-
three (123), as shown on said map, extending westerly from the
westerly line of Linden Avenue to the easterly line of Maple Avenue
and included between the southerly line of Baden Avenue and the
northerly line of Second Lane.
The map last hereinbefore referred to is that certain map
entitled: "SOUTH SaN FP~NCISCO S~N M~TEO CO. CAL. PLaT NO. 1",
which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of %he
County of San Ma%eo, California, March l, 1892, And it--'fn Map
Book No. 2 at page 52.
Section &. This ordinance shall be published once in
The Enterprise, a weekly newspaper, published and circulated in
the City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in
force on the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of SoUth San Francisco, this ~ day of ~~~ 19~9, by the
