The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle as that word is defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California, to make a U turn of such vehicle at any time upon the intersection of Grand Avenue with M~ple Avenue, and upon the intersection of Grand Avenue with Linden Avenue, in the City of South San Francisco. Section 2. Any person or persons who shall violate this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon convic- tion thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Twenty- five Dollars ($25.00), or by imprisonment for a period not exceed- ing fifteen (15) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-South San Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said city, and shall take effect and be in force upon the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption.
