The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance Nco 183 of the City sf
South San Francisco entitled: "'AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 36 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ENTITLe9: 'AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FIRE DEPARTMENT
AND FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO', PASSED AUGUST
22nd, 1910", adopted February 18, 1935, is hereby amended
so that said Section 4 as amended shall read as follows:
Section 4. The officers of said department shall
be a chief engineer, such assistant chief engineers,
and such other officers inferior to such engineers,
as said city council may, by resolution, authorize.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the Enterprise-South San Francisco Journal, a weakly
newspaper, printed and published in the City of South San
Francisco, and shall take effect and be enforced on the
expiration of thirty (30) days after its paseage.
Introduced this 7-~ day of January, 1952.
Pasmed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
SoUth San Francisco at a regular meeting of the city council
of said city this ~/~day of January, 1952, by the
following vote:
