HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 329-1952 O~INANCE NO. ~J~N~__ O~INANCE LIMITING SPEED OF ~HICLES ON ~NIPE~ SE~A '~/~BOULEVA~ AND HIC~Y BOULEVA~ ~ T~ CI~ OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO. The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful, prima facie, for any person to drive or propel any vehicle, as that word is defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California, over or upon any portion of Junipera Serra Boulevard or of Hickey Boulevard, in the City of South San Francisco, at a rate of speed in excess of thirty-five (35) miles per hour. Section 2. Any person, who shall violate any provision of this ordinance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding ~o Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or by impriso~ent for a period not exceeding three (3) months, or by both such fine and impri sonme nt. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the Ente~rise-South San Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in force on the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption. Introduced this 17th day of March, 1952.
