HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 342-1953[Vehicular Parking ] ORDINANCE NOo 54~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROHIBITING PARKING OF MOTOR TRUCKS ON PORTIONS OF ~AND AVENUE, ARROYO DRIVE, AND KENWOOD WAY BETWEEN 10:30 A.M. and 6:00 PoMo The City Codncil of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm, or corporation to park for any purpose, any motor vehicle, as that expression is defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California, which vehicle has an overall length greater than nineteen (19) feet, on either side of Grand Avenue from Maple Avenue to Airport Boulevard, on either side of Arroyo Drive from E1Camino Real to Alta Loma Drive or on either side of Kenwood Way from Hazelwood Drive to Brentwood Drive, on any day between the hour of 10:30 A.M. and the ~our of 6:00 PoM., following. Section 2. Any person, person$~;~ firm, or corporation who or which shall violate any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than TWENTY- FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00), and not exceeding FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. No sentence imposed for a violation of this ordinance may be suspended. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption. * * * * * * * CENTRAL RECORDS Introduced this 20th day of July , 1953.
