Consideration of the Genentech 2020 Master Plan Update; associated Draft and Final Environmental Impact
Reports; associated Zoning Text Amendment to the Genentech Master Plan Zoning District (Chapter
20.260); and draft Development Agreement consistent with Title 20 of the South San Francisco Municipal
Code
This is to advise that the City Council, Lead Agency, has approved the above described project on
November 24, 2020 and completed a second reading on December 1, 2020 and has made the following
determinations regarding the above described project.
1. The project [will will not] have a significant effect on the environment.
2. An Environment Impact Report was prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
A Negative Declaration was prepared for this project pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
3. Mitigation measures [were were not] made a condition of the approval of the project.
4. A statement of Overriding Considerations [were were not] adopted for this project.
5. A mitigation reporting or monitoring plan [were were not] adopted for this project.
6. Findings [were were not] made pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
This is to certify that the final EIR with comments and responses and record of project approval is available
to the General Public at: Planning Division, 315 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080
