AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO CREATING TWO OFFICES OF DEPUTY CITY
CLERK~ OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO°
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
Section 1o Two offices of deputy city clerk of said city
are hereby created°
Section 2o The deputy city clerks shall perform such
duties in connection with the operation of the city clerk's office
as shall, from time to time, be assigned to them. Also, one o£ the
deputy city clerks, to be designated by the city clerk, shall per-
form the duties of the city clerk in his absence and in the event
that, for any reason whatsoever, he shall be unavailable or unable
to perform his duties.
Section 3o Each of the deputy city clerks shall give to
said city a bond conditioned upon his faithful performance of his
duties in such amount as the City Council may, from time to time,
require.
Section ~o This ordinance shall be published once as re-
quired by law and shall take effect and be in force upon the expira-
tion of thirty (30) days after its adoptiono

day of June , 1954· by the following vote:
