SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PLANNING COMMISSION
Regular Meeting of March 19, 1992
CALL TO ORDER:
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Chairman Matteucci, Vice-Chairman Warren and
Commissioners Boblitt, Mantegani, Wendler and Zellmer.
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Commissioner DeZordo

CHAIRMAN COMMENTS
APPROVAL OF MINUTES of February 20, 1992
Motion-Mantegani/Second-Zellmer: To approve the minutes of February 20, 1992 as
presented. Unanimously approved by voice vote. ABSENT: Commissioner DeZordo.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS
The study session was on the agenda for discussing the joint meeting with City Council and
Commissioner Boblitt stated that she would prefer to postpone the discussion for several
months and Chairman Matteucci agreed. The Commission concurred that it would prefer to
continue this item until later in the year when it would have more agenda items.
ITEMS FROM COMMISSION
Commissioner Warren mentioned the desirability for the City to contact the University of
California, San Francisco, regarding possible expansions in South San Francisco. She stated
that they!were in the middle of their long-range development plan and it would be an
appropriate time to meet with them.
Commissioner Wendler raised the question about "A" frame signs for several stores in the
Brentwood Shopping Center and that the pet food store had outside storage of goods citing
also the Hall's Ice Cream store.
With regards to the BART Extension Station EIR, the Commission stated that it would like to
take an active participation in the review process.

Chairman Matteucci adjourned the meeting at 8:15 P.M. to April 2, 1992 at 7:30 P.M.
