APPROVAL OF MINUTES of September 5, 1991
Motion-ZellmerjSecond-Warren: To approve the Planning commission
minutes of September 5, 1991 as presented. Unanimously approved by
voice vote. ABSENT: Commissioner Boblitt.

AGENDA ITEMS - PUBLIC HEARINGS
1701 EI Camino Real, SpeeDee oil Chanqe & Tune-up (James Sieqler,
Owner) UP-91-893, Neqative Declaration No. 718
Use Permit, Design Review and environmental determination of same to
establish a quick lube and minor automobile service business with
related parking and landscaping in the C-1 (Retail Commercial) Zone
District in accordance with provisions of South San Francisco
Municipal Code Section 20.22.040(c).

Mr. Siegler advised the Commission that he and Mr. Simas had worked
out all problems regarding the site.
Motion-ZellmerjSecond-Warren: To approve UP-91-893 and Negative
Declaration No. 718 based on the findings and subject to the
conditions contained in the staff report. Unanimously approved by
the following roll call vote: AYES: Chairman DeZordo, Vice-Chairman
Matteucci, Commissioners Mantegani, Warren, Wendler and Zellmer.
ABSENT: Commissioner Boblitt.

ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
Appointment of Esta Gallant Kornfield to the Design Review Board.
Chief Planner Solomon explained to the Commission that Ms. Kornfield
was sick and the interview would be rescheduled.
STUDY SESSION
Required Findings Workshop - At this workshop the Commission, Chief
Planner Solomon and city Attorney O'Toole reviewed and discussed the
requirements for landuse case findings.
Chairman DeZordon adjourned the meeting at 9:00 P.M. to October 17,
1991 at 7:00 P.M.
