AN ORDINANCE AJ~NDING ORDINANCE NO. 353 ENTITLED
"ZONING ORDINANCE OF TI~ CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO*' ~ PASSED AND/~)PT~D AUGUST 1/J~ - 1954,
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I. Subsection 2.2 of Ordinance No. 353, entitled
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco", passed and
adopted on August 10, 1954, is hereby a~ended so that the following
described r~al property may be re-zoned from its present classifi-
cation of "R-3" (~ultiple Family Residential area) to a "C-l"
classification (Neighborhood Co~mercial Area):
All that property situate in the City of South San Fran-
cisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Hickey
Boulevard as described in Parcel 2 of the Deed from 0liver
D. Hamltn, Jr. et al, to Joint Highway District No. 10 of
the State of California, dated March 15, 1934 and recorded
March 17, 1934 in Book 616 of Official Records of San Mateo
County at page 219, said point being distant, along said
line of Hickey Boulevard N. 77' 02f 40" E 260.22 feet, from
the northeasterly line of an 80 foot strip of land des-
cribed in the Deed to the Spring Valley Water Company, re-
corded, May 31, 1907 in Book 136 of Deeds at page 184,
Records of San Mateo County; thence continuing along the
northerly line of Hlckey Boulevard N. 77' 02* 40" E 220
feet to a point, said point being S. 77° 02f 40" W. 54.54
feet from B. C. of a curve of radius 150 feet; thence
leaving highway N. 12° 57~ 20" W. 121.8 feet to a point;
thence S 45' 31~ 10" W. 182 feet to a point; thence along
a curve to the right having a radius of 350 feet, through
a central angle of 11' 35~ 24", an arc distance of 70.8 feet
to the true point of beginning.
Together with an easement for ingress and egress only to
Hickey Boulevard over a strip of land 21 feet in width
northwest of and adjacent to the northwest line of above
described parcel.
Section Il. This ordinance shall be published once as
required by law and shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days from and after its adoption.
Introduced this 20th-day of June, 1955.
