APPROVAL OF MINUTES of March 17, 1994
Motion- Warren/Second-Lucchesi: To approve the minutes of March 17, 1994 as presented. It
was unanimously approved by voice vote.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
AGENDA ITEMS - PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Planning Commission will make recommendations to the City Council regarding the
adoption of the Final East of 101 Area Plan and certification of the Final East of 101 Area
Plan Environmental Impact Report.
Chairman Mantegani opened the public hearing, received the staff report and considered and
discussed the revised plans.
Motion-Zellmer/Second-DeZordo: To adopt resolution recommending that the City Council
adopt General Plan Amendment GP-93-50 affecting the East of 101 Area Plan. It was
unanimously approved by voice vote.

Motion- Warren/Second-DeZordo: To adopt resolution recommending that the City Council
certify the Environmental Impact Report EIR-93-17. It was unanimously approved by voice
vote.
Items from Staff - none.
Items from Commission - A letter from Commissioner Romero regarding BART was
discussed. Commissioner Romero stated he preferred a station to the east of 101.
Motion-Zellmer/Second- Warren: To adjourn the meeting to July 14, 1994.
Chairman Mantegani adjourned the meeting at 9:45 P.M.
