AMD ADOPTED OM TSFE 12TH DAY OF JUNE, 1939.
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain u follovs:
Section 1. Ordinance lo. 202 of the City of South San Fran-
cisco, the ordinance designated in the title hereof, is hereby
amended by changing Section 4 thereof to read u follovs:
"Section 4. Bluting operations may be performed
only between the hours of 10:00 A. M. and 5:30 P. u.
veekdays, vith no such oper&tions to be performed on
Sundays or legal holidays. The exact hours for the
perfoFmance of any particular bluting operations shall
be such u the city engineer shall designate."
.Section 2. Ordinance Mo. 203, pu.sed and adopted on the 14th
day of August, 1939, entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Section 4
Ordinance Ilo. 202 of the City of South San IVranclsco, entitled 'AN
ORDXIIAIICE REGULATING BLASTXNG OPEltATXOHS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AND PROVIDING FOR LXCEMSXNG THE SAME*, adopted June 12th,
1939-, 4s hereby repealed. Also, any and all other ordinances or
parts of other ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect lnedtately upon
its adoption u an urgency meuure, a statement of the urgency being
u follows: There are presently being conducted within the City
!
South San Francisco extensive excavating and grading operations, some
of vhich involve blasting operations, and in ~order to .protect, and
insure the safety of, persons and property within said city, because
of such bluting operations, it becomes immediately necessary to
regulate properly the hours thereof.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once as required
by law.
Introduced this 1st day of August, 1955.

San Francisco at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City
held this 15th day of August, 1955, by the following vote:
