HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 380-1955 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 375, ENTITLKD: "Al( ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LIMITING THE TIME FOR PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CITY-OPERATED PA~IEING LOTS AND PUBLIC STREETS, AND PIIOHIBITING REPAIR WORK ON ~ VEHICLES PARKED UPON CITY-OPERATZD PARKING. LOTS, PUBLIC STREETS, THOItOUGIIFAMES, OR OTHER MUNICIPALLY OWh~D PROPERTI", WHICH ORDINANCE WAS PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 15TH DAY OF AUGUST 1955. The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. Ordinance No. 375 of the City of South San Francisco~ the ordinence designated in the title hereof, is hereby amended by adding thereto a new section, the same to be numbered and to read as follows: "Section l(a). It shall be unlawful for any person to park, or cause to be parked, any such vehicle upon any city-operated parking lot, or upon any public streets, thoroughfares, or other public property within the City of South San Francisco other than in the prescribed manner and in those places which are designated or indicated for the parking of vehicles. In this connection, it shall be unlawful for any person at any time to park, or cause to be parked, any vehicle in such a manner as to obstruct, hamper, hinder, or stop the normal movement of vehicular traffic on and across any city-operated parking lot, or on, across, or along any public street, thoroughfare, or other public property vithin said city." Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once as required by law and shall take effect and be in force folloving the passage of thirty (30) days from and after its adoption. Introduced this ?th day of November 1955. Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City COuncil of the ~lty of ~ou~h San' l~rasClsco held this 21st day of November 1955, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, Francis.
