ORDINANCE NO. 388
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FEANCISCO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 369
ENTITLED: "AN O~DINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REGULATING AUTO
WRECKING BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN SAID
CITY", WHICH ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
ADOPTED ON THE llTH DAY OF JULY, 1955.
The City~ Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 3 (a) of Ordinance NCo 369, the
ordinance designated in the title hereof, passed and adopted on the
llth day of July, 1955, is hereby amended so that said section shall
read as follows:
Section 3 (a). Such business shall be carried
on, maintained, or Conducted entirely within an enclosed
building, or buildings, unless the premises on which
such business is carried on, maintained~ or conducted
shall be entirely enclosed by a neat-appearing solid,
f~rm, and substantial non-transparent fence or wall, not
less than eight (8) feet in height, and constructed of
brick, concrete, wood, stone, or metal, or/combination
of such materials, or of any similar~ durable substance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once as
required by law, and shall take effect and be in force following the
passage of thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.

Introduced this 20th day of February, 1956.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of South Man Francisco held this ~th day of
