AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AMENDING SECTION 12 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 212 ENTITLED: "AN ORDIN-
ANCE CREATING A RECREATION COMMISSION
FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND
DEFINING ITS DUTIES", DULY ADOPTED ON
THE 3RD DAY OF MARCH 1941
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Section 12 providing for a quorum for the transaction
of business is hereby amended, so that said section, as amended,
shall read as follows:
Section 12. Three members of the Recreation Commission
shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. In
the absence of a quorum, no business shall be transacted by the
Commission, except that the members present may adjourn such
meeting to a particular time. Written notice of such adjournment
shall be given to all members not present at such adjournment at
least twenty-four (24) ho~s prior to the time to which such
adjournment may be taken. A majority of the quorum present shall
have authority to act on any matter regularly coming before the'
Commission.
This ordinance shall be published once as required by
law and shall take effect and be in force following the expiration
of thirty (30) days from and after the date of its adoption.
Introduced this 4th day of March 1957.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco this 18th day
of March 1957, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN G.J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi,
Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan
NOES, none
ABSENT, " none
