The City Council o[ the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Subsection-2 of Ordinance No. 339 en-
titled, "Aa Ordiaance of the City of South San Francisco
Providin~ for the Re~istratton and L£censin~ of Bicycles in
said City and Providin$ Penalties for Violitions', is hereby
aMnded so the it reads as

applications lot bicycle licenses, and pa~nC o[ the

January in th~ year in which the license fee
becomes due, or within ~wenCy (20) days there-
after; and in the case of a newly acquired
bicycle, application for a license and payment
of the license fee ~ust be ~ade within twenty
(20) days of the acquisition date. Said licenses
when issued shall entitle the licensee, or any-
one havin~ his per~ission, to operate the
bicycle for which said license has been issued,
upon all the streets, alleys, and public hishways
of said City.
Section 2. This ordin~nce shall be published once
as required by law and shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meetin~ of the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco this 16th day of
December 19 57, by the followin~ vote:
