What does it mean to
be Made in the U.S.A.?
According to the Federal
Trade Commission (FTC),
Made in the U.S.A. means
that “all or virtually all”
of the product has been
made in the United States.
That is, all significant parts,
processing and labor that
go into the product must
be of U.S. origin. Products
should not contain any—or
only negligible—foreign
