AN A,I~~NT TO THE CONTRACT BEI~/EEN THE
CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOAKD OF AI~NISTRA-
TION OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE EMPL0~ES'
RET IKEMENT SYSTEM
The City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does ordain as follows:
SECTION ~. That an amendment to the Contract
between the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
and the Board of Administration, California State Employees'
Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said
amendment being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit Au, and
by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set
out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City Council is here-
by authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said
amendment for and on behalf of said Agency.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty-
one days after the date of its adoption, and prior to the
expiration of fifteen days from the passage thereof shall be
published at least once in the. Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation, published and circulated in
the City of South San Francisco and thenceforth and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular ', meeting of
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this
19th day of ,October 1959, by the following
vote:
