The Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, does
ordain as follows:
Sec. 1. T~s Ordnance is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation
Act of 19~l.
Sec. ~. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the
intention of this Council to vacate that portion of Littlefield Avenue
lyi~ between the ~sterly corner of ~t l, Block 14 and the Southerly
line of Utah Avenue~ and the public street ~own as "Service Road", as
shown on that certain .~p entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park
Unit No. ~-C", which ~p was recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of San Mateo on Feb~a~ RS, 1959 in Book 50 of Maps, at
Pages 31, 3~ and 33.
Sec. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 16th day of November,
1959, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South
San Francisco, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and
wheme all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed
vacation of a portion of said Llttlefield Avenue and said Service Road~
~y appear before said Council and be heamd.
Sec. 4. The City Clerk of said City shall publish this Ordinance
once in a newspaper of general circulation, published within said City,
in the ~nner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances for said City.
Sec. 5. Notices of the vacation of the portion of said Littlefield
Avenue and said Se~ice Road shall be posted conspicuously along the line
of the street Drowsed to be vacated at least ten (lO) days before the
date set for the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than 300
feet apart, but at least th~ee shall be~ ~ ~~

That it was published in the Enterpri.e Jo~xaal on
the 22nd day of October .,1959, and being an ordinance
of intention adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, it
became effective immediately upon its adoption.
