RESOLUTION NO. 02-2006
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CST
ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. FOR $42,475.90 FOR LEAD AND
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AT 380 ALTA VISTA
WHEREAS, the Redevelopluent Agency purchased 380 AHa Vista on April 29, 2005 to
alleviate neighborhood concerns; and
WHEREAS, the Agency is conlnlitted to providing safe and sanitary housing to future
tenants; and
WHEREAS, the Agency conducted testing for hazardous nlaterials and found significant
anlounts of hazardous conditions on the propeliy; and
WHEREAS, the abateluent of hazardous conditions n1ust be cOlupleted by a certified
contractor; and
WHEREAS, CST Envirornuental Inc. is a certified contractor and has subnlitted the lUOst
cOlupetitive bid to complete the required abatement work at 380 AHa Vista.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopluent Agency of the City of
South San Francisco that the Redevelopluent Agency Board hereby authorizes the Executive Director
to execute a contract with CST Enviro111uental Inc. in the aluount of $42,475.90 to abate 380 AHa
Vista.

Redevelopluent Agency of the City of South San Francisco at a regular nleeting held on the 8th
day of February 2006 by the following vote:
