CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Motion to approve the minutes of March 22, 2006
2. Motion to confirm expense claims of April 12, 2006 in the amount of$19,502.89
3. Resolution amending the budget for the new Fire Station 61 Training Tower Building
Project in an amount not to exceed $125,000, and reject all bids for the emergency
operations center building project
Item removed from Consent Calendar at the request of Boardmember Gonzalez.
Motion-Garbarino/Second-Matsumoto: To approve Consent Calendar Item Nos. 1 and 2.
Approved by voice vote. Absent: Boardmember Addiego.
Item No.3: Boardmember Gonzalez asked for an explanation of the item. Staff report presented
by City Engineer Ray Razavi.
Motion-Gonzalez/Second-Garbarino: To approve Resolution No. 06-2006, amending the
budget for the new Fire Station 61 training tower building project, and rejection of all
bids for the Fire Station 61 emergency operations center (EOC) building project.
Approved by voice vote. Absent: Boardmember Addiego.
ADMINISTRA TIVE BUSINESS
4. Resolution confirming issuance of tax allocation bonds at the level approved on February
22, 2006, in an amount not to exceed $80 million
Staff report presented by Finance Director Steele.
Motion-Matsumoto/Second-Garbarino: To approve Resolution No. 07-2006, confirming
the not to exceed amount of the upcoming tax allocation bond sale. Approved by voice
vote. Absent: Boardmember Addiego.

Being no further business, Chairman Fernekes adjourned the meeting at 7:19 p.m.
