Section I shall be zoned Neighborhood Commercial District or
C-1 District, and said change i, zoning shall be so established
and delineated upon said Zoning Map.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be published once as
required by law and shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption·

ORDINANCE NO. 494
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 353, AS AMENDED,
ENTITLED "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO", PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1954
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does or-
dain as follows:
SECTION I. The following parcel of property is hereby zoned
Neighborhood Commercial District or C-1 District:
Beginning at a point which is 19.6 feet north
of Southern Pacific Railroad Station 870~ 14~ which is
also located on the northwest property line of Chest-
nut Avenue, thence from said point of beg%nning pro-
ceeding in a northwesterly direction N 54v 47' 55~' W
for a distance of 100 feet to a point thence proceeding
in a northwesterly direction N 52° 38' 55~' W 100 feet to
a point, thenc~ turning and proceeding in a northeasterly
direction N 37~ 21' 05m E for a distance of 50.40 feet
to a point thence turning and proceeding in southeasterly
direction S 49° 08' 25" E for a distance of 13.79 feet to
a point thence proceeding in a southeasterly direction on
the arc of a curve to the left of radius 533 feet, central
angle of 9° 48' 21" for an arc distance of 91.22 feet,
thence proceeding on a tangent southeasterly S 46° 17' 50" E
for a distance of 34.94 feet to a point, thence proceeding
on the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 15
feet, a central angle of 103° 03' 25~' and an arc distance
of 26.98 feet to the point of beginning, the total area being
6218 square feet plus or minus or approximately 0.143 acres.
