ORDINANCE NO. 509
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONSENTING TO
THEESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION
. WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AS A PART OF THE
COUNTY HIGHWAY SYSTEM OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. That within the corporate limits of the City of South San
Francisco is a portion of HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION, described as follows:
That portion of HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION that lies within the
City Limits of South San Francisco and is part of and is comprised within the
following described area:
BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of Lot 9, Block 13, as
shown on thatcertain map entitled "WINSTON MANOR NO. 2 SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO",
which map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
State of California, in Book 33 of Maps, at Page 28; thence from said point
of beginning southwesterly to the most southerly corner of said Lot 9;
thence southwesterly to the most easterly corner of Lot 7, Block 15, as
shown on said map (Winston Manor No. 2); themce southwesterly to the most
southerly corner of said Lot 7; thence southeasterly to the most easterly
corner of Lot 13, Block 15, as shown on that certain map entitled "WINSTON
MANOR NO. 2-A SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO" which map was filed in the Office of the
Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California, in Book 33 of Maps,
at Page 47; thence southwesterly to the most southerly corner of said Lot 13;
thence southerly to the most easterly corner of Lot 9, Block 16, as shown on
said map (WINSTON MANOR NO. 2-A); thence southwesterly to the most southerly
corner of said Lot 9; thence, northwesterly to the most westerly corner of
Lot 4 of said Block 16; thence northeasterly to the most northerly corner of
said Lot 4; thence northerly to the most westerly corner of Lot 16 of said
Block 15; thence northeasterly to the most northerly corner of said Lot 16;
thence southeasterly to the most westerly corner of Lot 4, Block 15, as shown
on the first hereinabove mentioned map (WINSTON MANOR NO. 2); thence north-
easterly to the most northerly corner of said Lot 4; thence~northeasterly to
the most westerly corner of Lot 6 of said Block 13; thence northeasterly ;to
the most northerly corner of said Lot 6; thence southeasterly to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo
has by Resolution declared said portion of HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION lying
within the City of South San Francisco to be a County HighWay, pursuant to
Section 1700 of Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, the consent of the governing body of the
City involved, i.e., the City of South San Francisco, is required prior to
Page 1. the effectiveness of the establishment of such included portion of said City

street as a part of the County Highway System; that the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco does hereby grant its consent to the establish-
ment of said portion of HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION as a part of the County
Highway System.
SECTION 4. That upon the taking effect of this Ordinance, said portion
of HICKEY BOULEVARD EXTENSION shall become a County Highway with respect to
its construction, maintenance, improvement and repair.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enberprise-
Journal , a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published,
and circulated in the City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect
thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
INTRODUCED THIS 18bh day of Maw , 1964.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as an Ordinance of the CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
at the regular meeting of the Council of said City on the qrd day of August,
1964, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Patrick E. Ahem, Frank Bertucelli, Andrew
Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi
NOES, " Emilio Cortesi
ABSENT, " None
