ORDINANCE NO. 531
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0.353, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED
"ZONING ORDINANCE.OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO'' PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1954, AND
ESTABLISHING ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR
THE PROPERTY H~REIN DESCRIBED
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
I. Amendment of Section 2.2 and ZoninK Map:
Subsection 2°2 of Ordinance No.353, as amended, entitled
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco", passed
and adopted August 10, 1954, and "Zoning Map of the City of South
San Francisco, California", dated March 1, 1961, adopted March 5,
1962, are hereby amended so that the property hereinafter described
in Section III shall be established as a Duplex Residential District
or R-2 District.
II. Delineation on ZoninR Map:
The designation, location and boundary of the property
herein zoned and hereinafter more particularly described shall be
delineated upon the map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of South
San Francisco, California", dated March 1, 1961, adopted March 5,
1962.
III. Establishment of ZoninR Classification:.
The following described property.is hereby zoned and
established as a Duplex Residential District or R~2 District.
CENTRAL RECORDS
Ail that certain real property situate in the City of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southerly line
of Commercial Avenue with the Westerly line of Orange Avenue;
thence from said point of beginning along said Westerly line
of Orange Avenue, South 15° 33' West 140.00 Feet to the Nor-
therly line of Lot 36, Block 1, as designated on the map en-
titled "CITY PARK ADDITION SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SAN MATEO COUN-
TY, CALIF."~ which map was filed in the office of the Recorder
of the County of San Mateo, State of California, on J~ 20,
1938 in Book 21 of Maps at page 79; thence North 74° West
parallel with the said Southerly line of Commercial Avenue and
~long the Northerly line of Lots 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30,
and 29, Block 1, a distance of 425.00 feet to the Easterly line
of Lot 28, in said Block 1; thence North 15° 33' East along the
Easterly line of Lots 28 and 1, in Block 1, a distance of 140.00
feet to the said Southerly line of Commercial Avenue; thence
South 74° 27' East along the last mentioned line 425.00 feet to
the poing of beginning.
IVo Publication and Effective Date:
This Ordinance shall be published once as required by
law and shall hake effec~ and be in force thirty (30) days from
and after its adoption.
Introduced this 6th day of July , 19 65 o
Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco ~his
day of July , 1965 , by the following vote:
