AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A FIRE DISTRICT AND DE-
SIGNATING ZONES THEREIN WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 136
The City Council of the CitF of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
I. Fire District Established:
The entire city of South San Francisco shall constitute
a fire district, which district shall be divided into three zones
to be known and desi§nated as Fire Zone 1, Fire Zone 2 and Fire
Zone 3, respectively, as said zones are shown on that certain map
on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City entitled
"Map showing Fire Zones of the City of South San Francisco, Calif-
ornia, Ordinance No.535", reference to which is hereby made for
further particulars.
II. Fire Zones Designated:
Fire Zones 1 and 2, respectively, shall include such
territory or portion of the City as shown and delineated on the
aforesaid map. Fire Zone 3 shall include all such territory or
portion of the City not in Fire Zones 1 and 2; provided, however,
that, whenever at any time the City shall have reclassified,
or §ranted, a variance with respect to real property for the
purpose of any commercial use, the property so reclassified,
for which such variance shall have been granted, shall auto-
matically be included within Fire Zone 2 as of the date of
the granting of such reclassification or variance, as the case
may be.
III. Repeal of Ordinance No.136:
Ordinance No.136, passed the 4th day of May, 1925,
is hereby repealed.
IV. Publication and Effective Date:
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enter-
prise-Journal as required by law and shall be effective upon the
expiration of thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
