AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 449
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RECREATING AND RE-
ESTABLISHING A PERSONNEL SYBTEM FOR
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 216 AND ALL IN-
CONSISTENT ORDINANCES"
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Sectiom 1. That the following position set forth
in Sectio~ 6 of Ordinance Non 1:~;:9, as amended, is hereby
abolished:

Section 2. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 449 is
hereby amended so that, as amended, it shall read as follows:
Section 6e COMPETITIVE SERVICE
A. The following positions and offices are in the competitive
service and the provisions of this ordinance or amemdments
thereto shall apply to them. The City Council may add
positions or offices to the competitive service by amending
this section by duly passing aa ordinance so providing:

This Ordinance shall be published once as required
by law in the "~aterprise-Journalm, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of South San Francisco,
and shall take effect and be ia force thirty (30) days after
its adoption.
Introduced this 17th day of January , 1966.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of
South ~aa Framcisco at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of South S~an Francisco this 7th day
of February , 1966, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. Bertmcelli. Patrick E. Ahern. Emilio
Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi.
