AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CON-
SENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF WEST-
BOROUGH BOULEVARD EXTENSION WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AS A PART OF THE COUNTY HIGflWAT SYSTEM
OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does or-
dain as follows:
SECTION I. That within the corporate limits of the City of
South San Francisco is a portion of Westborough Boulevard Ex-
tension described as follows:
That portion of Westborough Boulevard Extension that lies
within the City limits of South San Francisco as shown on the
plat attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which plat is incorporated
herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION II. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of
San Mateo has by Resolution declared said portion of Westborough
Boulevard Extension lying within the City of South San Francisco
to be a County Highway, pursuant to Section 17OO of Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION III. That pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the consent of the
governing body of the City involved, i.e., the City of South San

Francisco, is required prior to the effectiveness of the estab-
lishmen= of such included portion of said City street as part
of the County H~shway Sys=em; ~ha~ ~he City Council of ~he Ci=y
of Sou~h San Francisco does hereby ~ran~ i=s consen= ~o ~he
es=ablish~n~ of said portion of Wes~boroush Boulevard Ex=ension
as a par~ of =he County Hishway System.
SECTION IV. Tha= upon =he ~ak~nS effec~ o~ ~his Ordinance~
said portion of Wes~boroush Boulevard Ex~ension sha~l become a
Coun=y H~shway wi=h respec= =o ~s cons=~c~ion, ~in=enance~ im-
prove~n~ and repair.
SECTION V. This ~dinance shall be published once~ as re-
quired by ~aw, in =he 'En~erprise-Journa~', a newspaper of ~eneral
circula~on, pr~n~ed, published and c~rcula~ed ~n ~he City of
South San Francisco, and shall take effect ~hirty (30) days after
its passage and adoption.
