The Board of Admiaistration, State Employees' Retirement System, hereinafter
referred to as Board, and the CiTY COUi~CIL of the CiTY OF ~OUTti SAN tq,~i~CiSCO, here-
iuafter referred to as Public Agency, having entered into a contract under date of
September l~., 19h5, effective September l, 19h5, and as amended effective September l,
19h9, December l, 1953, January l, 1960, January l, 1963, and February l, 1967, which
orovi~es for oarticioation of Public Agency in said System, .Board and Public Agency
hereby agree as follows:
A. The following oara~ra0hs shall be added to said Contract:
5(c)(ll)
and
6(g)(9)
Section 21365.5 (providing a monthly allowance in lieu of the basic
death benefit for certain survivors of a member who dies in employ-
ment after qualifying fo~ ~0~unta, rY S~rvi6~ ~&t~rement).
5(c)(12) Section 21380-7 (providing for allowances for survivors of Group A
and local safety members covered under the program upon death before
retirement).
5(c)(13) Section 2095~.~ (providing for age 50 as the mini~mm voluntary retire-
ment age for local safetynembers with benefit pay~mnts commencing
prior to age 55 subject to actuarial discount).
Paragraphs 7(a) and 7(b) shall be stricken from'~aid ~ontractand the following
oaragraohs substituted therefor:
7(a)
With respect to miscellanecus members, the city shall contribute the
following percentages of monthly salaries earned as miscellaneous
members of said system:
(1) 0.056 percent on accou, nt of the liability for prior service
benefits.
(2) 6.253 percent on account of the liability for current service
benefits.
7(b)
(3) ~ii:;5.OO per month for each member covered under the provisions of
Section 21380-7 (SERB Survivor Program).
With respect to local safety members, the city shall contribute the
follo~%ng percentages of monthly salaries earned as local safety
members of said System:
(1) 0.150 percent on account of the liability for prior service
benefits.

(2) 10.552 oercent on account of the liability for current service
benefits.
(3) ~,~5.00 oer month for each member covered under the provisions
of Section 21380-7 (SF, RS Survivor Program).

of the 1st day of Januarv, 1968 .
