AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4.11 AND 4.48 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 353 AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 4.11(a)-7.
Section 4.11(a)-7 of Ordinance No. 353 as amended,
entitled "Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco,"
Section 4.11(a)-7, is hereby amended to read:
4.11(a)-7. General commercial, warehouse and storage, manu-
facturing or industry--minimum of one (1) space
for each two (2) regular employees and not
less, in any case, than one (1) space for each
fifteen hundred (1500) square feet of ground or
floor area used for warehousing, storage, manu-
facture, processing, or related uses.
SECTION II. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 4.11(a), ADDING SUBSECTION 10.
Section 4.11(a) is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following Subsection 10:
4.11(a)-10 Ail off-street parking lots shall comply with
the following standard requirements. The
Architectural Committee may approve maximum
ten (10) percent deviations in the space and
standard requirements where deviations would
clearly and materially improve the aesthetics
of the involved physical plants or uses, and
where said deviations would not materially
impair the off-street parking capacity thereof.
SECTION III. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 4.48, OFF-STREET PARKING
REQUIRED.
Section 4.48 of Ordinance 353 as amended, entitled
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco," is hereby
amended to read:
4.48 Off-street Parking Required:
(a) General commercial, warehouse and storage,
manufacturing or industry, minimum of one
(1) space for each two (2) regular employees
and not less, in any case, than one (1) space
for each fifteen hundred (1500) square feet
of ground floor area used for warehousing,
storage, manufacturing, processing, or
related uses.
(b) Ail off-street parking lots shall comply
with the following standard requirements.

plants or uses, and where said deviations

SECTION IV. EFFECTIVE DATE AND PUBLICATION:
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days
from and after the date of final passage and approval. The Clerk
shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the
same to be published in the Enterprise-Journal as required by law.

Francisco at a reqular meeting of the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco this ath day of December
