AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
PORTION OF WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD EXTENSION
WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AS
A PART OF THE COUNTY HIGHWAY SYSTEM OF THE
COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That within the corporate limits of the City
of South San Francisco is a portion of Westborough Boulevard
Extension described as follows:
That portion of Westborough Boulevard Extension
that lies within the City limits of South San
Francisco as shown on the description attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", which description is in-
corporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION II: That the Board of Supervisors of the County
of San Mateo has by resolution declared said portion of West-
borough Boulevard Extension lying within the City of South San
Francisco to be a County Highway, pursuant to Section 1700 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION III: That pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets
of Highways Code of the State of California, the consent of the
governing body of the City involved, that is, the City of South
San Francisco, is required prior to the effectiveness Of the
establishment of such included portion of said City street as
part of the County Highway System; and the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco does hereby grant and consent to
the establishment of said portion of Westborough Boulevard Ex-
tension as a part of the County Highway System.
SECTION IV: That upon the taking effect of this Ordin-
ance, said portion of Westborough Boulevard Extension shall be-
come a County Highway with respect to its construction, m~in-
tenance, improvement and repair.
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be published once, as
required by law, in the "Enterprise Journal", a newspaper of
general circulation printed, published and circulated in the
City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in
force thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
