AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AMENDIN8 ORDINANCE NO. ~, A~ AMENDED, ENTITLED
"ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO" (PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 4.25(c) AND
SECTION 4.'26:
Section 4.25(c) of Ordinance 353, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding thereto the following:
The Commission may order the matter stand appealed
to the City Council or the' applicant, within ten
(10) days after the disapproval recommendation of
the Commission, may file a written appeal with the
City Council.
Section 4.26 is ~ereby amended by adding thereto
Subsection (c) as follows:
(c) In addition to the amendment procedure hereinbefore
provided, an amendment may be effected after hearing
before the City Council on appeal as set forth in
Section ~.25(c)
SECTION II. URGENCY MEASURE.
This ordinance is adopted as an interim ordinance pur-
suant to the ~overnment Code of the State of California and to
afford due process by way of an appeal to the City Council so that
uses compatible with the nature, character and design of the planned
community may be duly considered and approved and uses incompatible

therewith may be disapproved so as to preserve the nature,
character and design of the planned community district.
SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE AND PUBLICATION:
This ordinance shall he published once in the
"Enterprise-Journal", a newspaper of general circulation in the
City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in
force immediately from and afte~ the date of its adoption.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco this 3r~. day of February ,
