AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
564, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF CITATION SYSTEM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION XXXIII-D.
Section XXXIII-D of Ordinance No. 564, as amended~ is
Abatement of Animal Nuisances: The Health Officer, Humane
Officer, Police Officer, or other designated public official
shall abate animal nuisances which constitute public nui-
sances as defined by this Ordinance or by State law by
issuing citations to those persons, firms, or corporations
responsible for said nuisances.
2. The Citation: The citation form shall contain the name of
the offender, address, nature of the offense, name of cita-
tion officer and such other information as shall be required
by those governmental agencies affected by the issuance of
such a citation.
The citation will require the offender to either appear
before the Municipal Court or post bail.
SECTION II. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-
Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South
San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption.
