HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 646-1972ORDINANCE NO. 646 AN ORDINANCE CREATING REVOLVING FUND FOR USE BY CITY MANAGER AND CITY COUNCIL AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 291 ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A REVOLVING FUND FOR THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. REVOLVING FUND CREATED. A revolving fund in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) is hereby created. Said fund shall be used for expenditures incurred by the City Manager and members of the City Council in the performance of their dut'ies for the City. SECTION II. AUTHORIZED EXPENDITURES. City personnel hereby empowered to draw on the revolving fund account shall be designated by resolution. ; SECTION III. BAJ~K ACCOUNT, CUSTODY AND REPLENISHMENT OF FUND. 1'.· Said revolving fund shall be kept by"~.th& City Manager in a separate bank deposit account, designAted~ as a revolving fund, and from time to time, said City'~Mfu{Ager may draw checks upon said account for the purposes-of the expenditures herein authori zed. 2. On the first day of each month, or when requested by the City Manager, the Director of Finance shall transfer to said revolving fund from the General F~znd of said City a sum of money sufficient to cause said revolving fund to amount to One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). SECTION IV. REPEAL OF ORDINANCE 291 Ordinance 291 entitled, "An Ordinance Establishing a Revolving Fund for the City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco," is hereby repealed. SECTION V. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise- Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
