AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 251, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING
FOR INCREASE IN TAXICAB RATES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Amendments of Sub-Paragmaphs 1, 2 and 6 of
Pamagmaph G of Section 13 of Omdinance 251, as amended, amc
hemeby amended to mead as follows:
Pamagmaph G: The mates fixed om chamged om collected
by the~ownem om drivem of any taxicab as defined in Sec-
tion I of this OPdinance, except fop tPips to or fmom
points outside of the City of South San Fmancisco where
said chamge is fixed on a tmip basis, shall not exceed
the following:
(1) For the first one-eighth mile or fraction
thereof, eighty cents (80¢).
(2) For each additional one eighth mile or fraction
themeof, ten cents (10¢).
(6) Fop waiting, twenty-seven cents (2?¢) for each
two (2) minutes om fraction themeof afteP the
first five (5) minutes, except that the rate
pem houP shall not exceed eight dollars ($8.00).
SECTION II: This Omdinance shall be published once in
the "Entempmise-Joumnal," a newspapem of general cimculation in
the City of South San Fmancisco, as requimed by law, and shall
become effective thimty (30) days f~om and afteP its adoption.

San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco this 2nd day of July
