AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 79
ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A
FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY IN AND FOR THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2. 9
Section 2 of Ordinance No. 79 passed July
20, 1914, entitled "An Ordinance Establishing a Free Public
Library in and for the City of South San Francisco" is hereby
amended by adding thereto Section~2.1 which shall read. as
follows:
2.1
Each Library Trustee shall be paid the
sum of Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per
month.
SECTION II. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall be published once in
the Enterprise-Journal, a weekly newspaper pr.inted,pub, lished and
circulated in the City of South San Francisco, and shall take
effect and be in force on January 4, 1975.
Introduced this 20th day of November , 1974.
Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City
