HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 687-1975 ORDINANCE NO. 687-75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 636 PASSED THE 5TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1972, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REGULATING MECHANICAL AMUSEMENT DEVICES AND PROVIDING FOR LICENSE FEES, PROHIBITING ILLEGAL DEVICES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES" THE CITY CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION VI. Section VI of Ordinance No. 636, passed the 5th day of September, 1972, entitled "An Ordinance.of the City of South San Francisco Regulating Mechanical Amusement Devices and Providing for License Fees, Prohibiting Illegal Devices and Providing Penalties" is hereby amended to read: SECTION VI. FEES. Fees shall be paid in accordance with the applicable sections of the South San Francisco Business License Ordinance, same being Ordinance No. 261, as amended. SECTION II. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption in accordance with Government Code Section 36937(c) because it relates to taxes for the usual and current expenses of the City, and upon adoption Shall be published, within fifteen (15) days after adoption, by the City Clerk in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco. Introduced this 19th day of March , 1975. Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a reqular __meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 2nd day of April ,1975, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
