CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ORDINANCE NO. 690-75
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
FACILITY LEASE WITH CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC
FACILITIES CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, City of South San Francisco Public Facil-
ities Corporation (herein called the "Corporation")is a non-
profit .corporation formed to render financial assistance to
the. City of South San Francisco (herein called the "City")
by financing the acquisition, construction and improvement
of public buildings and facilities for the City; and
WHEREAS, the City now has a need for and desires
to obtain the use of a public safety complex, containing
a fire station, a police station and dentention area, ad-
ministrative offices for the. police and fire departments
and a communications center, together with Parking, site
development, landscaping, utilities, equipment and appur-
tenant and related facilities (herein called the "Project"),
and the City proposes to lease the site for the Project to
the Corporation and to lease back the site and the Project.
to be constructed thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is hereby found and determined that it is
to the public interest, convenience and welfare and for
the common benefit of the City that the City lease the
Project from the Corporation.

2. The act of entering into a lease of the Proj- .
ect by the City from the Corporation be and it is hereby ap-
proved. The form of proposed Facility Lease between the
Corporation and the City, submitted to this City Council, and
the terms and conditions thereof, are hereby approved. .Upon
determination of the base rental to be paid under Section 3(a)
thereof by subsequent resolution of this City Council, the
Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute and deliver said Facility Lease in substantially said
form, as completed to include such subsequently determined
base rental. The amount of such subsequently determined
base rental payable in any one year shall not exceed five
hundred eighty thousand dollars ($580,000).
3. This ordinance shall not take effect until
thirty days after its final passage. This ordinance is sub-
ject to the p~rovisions for referendum applicable to ordinances
of the City as such provisions are set forth in Article 2,
Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Elections Code of the State of
California. This ordinance shall be published after adoption
as required by law for ordinances of the City.

rect copy of an ordinance introduced and read at an adjourned
regular meeting of the City Council of said City duly 'and
regUlarly and legally held on the 27th day of March ,
1975, and thereafter duly passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of said City Council duly and regularly and
legally held on the 2nd day of April , 1975, of which
meeting all the members of said City Council had due notice
and at which a majority of said members was present by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini,
Terr.~ J~ Mirri and Warren Steinkamp
NOES: Councilman Leo Padreddii
ABSENT: " None
I have carefully compared the same with the original
minutes of said meeting on file and of record in my office
and said ordinance is duly entered of record in the minutes
of the City Council and in the Ordinance Book of said City,
and the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of the
original ordinance adopted at said meeting and entered in
said minutes and Ordinance Book.
Said ordinance has not been amended, modified or
rescinded since the date of its passage and the same is now
in full force and effect.
