AN ORDINANCEAMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 251, /LS AMENDED, PROVIDING
FOR INCREASE IN TAXICAB RATES.
THE Cllt' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS: ' -
SECTION I, Amendment of Subparagraphs ! and 2 of Paragraph G of
Section 13 of Ordinance 251, As Amended. Subparagraphs I and 2 of Para-
graph 13 of Ordinance 251, as amended, adopted November 21, 1946, entitled
"An Ordinance To Regulate the Rates, Rules and Practices of Taxicabs,..
Buses and Rent Cars Operating in the City of Souih San Francisco, Prescrib-
ing ~erms and Conditions under Which Such Operations May Be Conducted,.
-providing Penalties for the Violation of This Ordinance and Repealing Con-
flicting Ordinances," are hereby amended.to read:
· Paragraph G: The rates fixed or charged or collected by
the owner or driver of any taxicab as defined in-Section I of
this Ordinance, except for trips to or from points outside of
the City of South San Francisco where said charge is fixed on
a trip basis, shall not exceed the following:
{1) For the first one-eleventh mile or fraction thereof,
One Dollar Ten Cents {$1.10}.
(2)
For each additional one.eleventh mile or fraction
thereof, Ten Cents (10¢}.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-
Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco,
as required by law, and shall become effective thirty {30) days from and
after its adoption.
