AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PARKING METER RATES AND
AMENDING SECTION 15.3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 491 AS
AMENDED, ADOPTED OCTOBER 7, 1963, ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTAB-
LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AND REPEALING
SUPERSEDED ORDINANCES."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 15.3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 491, AS
AMENDED.
Section 15.3 of Ordinance No. 491 as amended, adopted October
7, 1963, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco Estab-
lishing Traffic Regulations and Repealing Superseded Ordinances" is hereby
amended to read:
Section 15.3. Parking Meter Rates'and Time Limits.
The parking meter rates and time limits shall be
as set forth in the following schedule and the assigned
Traffic Engineer and the Chief of Police are authorized
to erect and maintain necessary signs pertaining
thereto on the street and in the parking lots.

SECTION II. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance relates to taxes for the usual and current
expenses of the City and shall take effect immediately upon adoption in
accordance with Government Code Section 36937.
SECTION III. PUBLICATION.
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-
Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San
Francisco, as required by law.
Introduced this 20th day of October, 1976, and passed and
adopted as an urgency ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at
the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
this 20th day of October, 1976, by the following vote:
