HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 717-1976ORDINANCE NO. 717-76 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 492 ADOPTED OCTOBER 21, 1963, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AND FIRE ALARM BOXES." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AMENDMENT OF SECTION V, SUBSECTION A(2) "LOCATION AND. INSTALLATION OF FIRE ALARM BOXES." Subsection A(2) of Section V of Ordinance 492 adopted October 21, 1963, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco Establishing Require- ments for Fire Alarm System and Fire Alarm Boxes," is hereby amended to read: 2. Residential districts Fire alarm boxes shall not be required in resi- dential districts. SECTION II. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-JoUrnal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
