AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 396 AS
AMENDED ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AND PROCEDURES RELATED
THERETO"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 396 AS
AMENDED.
Section 10 of Ordinance No. 396 adopted June 4, 1956, as amended,
entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Sewer Service Charges and ProCedures
Related Thereto" is hereby amended by adding,theretO Subsection 10.1 to
read as follows:
SECTION 10.1. EXCEPTIONS.
The Report required by Section 10 to be filed on
July 1, 1977, shall be filed no later than July 15,
1977.
SECTION 2. URGENCY MEASURE.
This Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure adopted
pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 36937 in that (a)
it relates to sewer service charges for the usual and current expenses of
the City for fiscal year 1977-78, and (b) is for the immediate preservation
of public peace, health and safety because it provides for the sanitary
sewer charges to fund sanitary sewer services during fiscal year 1977-78.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be published once as required by
law in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect as an urgency
